Who it's for

Homeowners who want a fast, safety-first checkup across the core systems of the home. It is an HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing safety inspection.

Heating System Safety Inspection

Our technician will perform a multi-point safety and condition check of your furnace or boiler, including:

  • Verify proper system startup and shutdown
  • Inspect burners and ignition components for safe operation
  • Check flame characteristics for signs of improper combustion
  • Inspect venting and flue connections for blockage, corrosion, or separation
  • Confirm proper draft and exhaust direction
  • Inspect safety controls and limit switches
  • Check gas piping connections near the appliance for visible issues
  • Inspect condensate drainage on high-efficiency systems
  • Verify blower operation and airflow at the equipment
  • Identify carbon monoxide risk indicators through visual and operational checks

This inspection focuses on system safety and operational risk, not performance tuning or cleaning.

System Age, Life Expectancy & Risk Assessment

We document key information about your heating system and evaluate its remaining service life:

  • Equipment make, model, and approximate age
  • Expected lifespan based on system type and condition
  • Identification of high-risk or failure-prone components
  • Safety concerns related to aging equipment
  • Repair vs replacement considerations when appropriate

This helps homeowners plan ahead instead of reacting to emergency breakdowns.

  • Inspect water heater for:
    • Proper installation and clearances
    • Signs of leakage, corrosion, or tank deterioration
    • Proper venting on gas water heaters
    • Temperature and pressure relief (T&P) valve presence and visible discharge piping
  • Check water heater temperature setting for safety and scald risk
  • Inspect shutoff valves at fixtures and water heater for accessibility and visible condition
  • Test faucets and fixtures for proper operation and visible leaks
  • Inspect toilets for:
    • Continuous running or flapper leakage
    • Loose connections or signs of base leakage

  • Identify visible plumbing conditions that may present a future leak or failure risk

This inspection focuses on plumbing safety, leak prevention, and risk awareness. It does not include flushing, cleaning, repairs, or performance upgrades.

Electrical Safety Inspection

As part of the Triple Threat Home Safety Bundle, a licensed electrician performs a comprehensive electrical safety inspection to identify fire hazards, shock risks, and outdated or unsafe electrical conditions.

Electrical Safety Checks Include:
  • Inspect main service panel for loose, damaged, or corroded connections
  • Verify breakers are correctly sized and properly installed
